Does your child really want to get that part in the school musical? Give them a leg up on their audition with this three hour workshop for 8-12 year olds, taught by Senior Courtnay and Rowe teacher Janette Luffred. Ms. Luffred has been teaching with Courtnay and Rowe In-Home Music and Education Company for almost 10 years as a Vocal Coach, teaching 100s of children, and has a long laundry list of children she has assisted with their success in school musicals (Pace, Westminster, Lovett, and more) and local theatre like Fabrefaction Theatre Company. Her resume is extensive and teaching techniques fresh and innovative.

Workshop covers current ideas for placing in school auditions and local theatres in the Atlanta area. A must have experience for any young, budding actor/actress or musician! First half of the workshop consists of choosing appropriate auditioning songs for your child’s voice, best monologue choices and information on performance resumes (headshots, specific layout of resume, etc.) to give your child the best leg up when auditioning. Second half will focus on your child’s specific needs to ensure comprehension and success.
